Women What Whistle

This podcast is about not falling in line or fading away. Stories of bravery, accounts of resilience and even tales of sheer bloody-mindedness. It’s about finding our voice, and sometimes our brave, through the stories of other women who’ve had to find theirs.

Having an Uncluttered head, heart and home is vital for coping with our busy and multi-facetted modern lifestyles. There is no avoiding stress these days so it’s all about structuring our lives around the different plates we spin and hats that we wear so we are best able to manage without falling apart! Living your unreal life means living YOUR life, being you, being connected with your reality and making it work.

We all have bills to pay, it could be you have children to care for and raise,  you might be part of the sandwich generation and caring for a parent at the same time, you might run your own business, perhaps you have a job AND your run a separate business from home, you may have animals that depend on you for attention and exercise, you may be committed to a local club or association, maybe you do voluntary work – whatever it is, long gone are the 9-5 days where the weekend and evenings are open for rest. We all try to fit in as much as possible and consequently, looking at how we do that and possibly revisiting some of our habits is necessary to cope.

Whilst attitude and mindset has a vital role in the way you feel and manage each day, your environment plays a big part in affecting how you get on with everything you’re coping with as well. So many times we change part of a picture but not all of it and then wonder why things go wrong. We need to look at the entire picture and create an environment that supports our lifestyles that have changed so much over the years.

During this podcast we talk about how the body and mind function at a neurochemical and even atomic level that proves to us that organisation suits and supports our bodies and minds. We look at managing our hearts by looking at our relationships and having boundaries; organising our homes to support clear thinking by providing a calm, orderly environment; and safeguarding our minds by learning to plan, preventing unnecessary stress.

We discuss the rise of the Queens of clean on social media, the #hincharmy type brigades and why they seem to be taking over and then we get practical and go through specific ways we can help ourselves at home and work creating an uncluttered head, heart and home.

I hope you enjoy :)
