What do you do when you get back from work just after midnight and find that you can’t get in because the doors are locked with keys still in the locks? You think a lot whilst trying to keep warm, not lose your cool and make the most of a night spent under the stars!
So what ended up being a whole night on the driveway whilst watching the stars and the sun rise, I got a glimpse into the monastic routine of rising at 3am, enjoyed memories of Zanzibar and the Indian Ocean and pondered further on connection with life beyond language and logic, outside the machine we live in and acknowledging the importance of hanging on to the peace we have found!
